linger, listen, connect: it is enough

What story do you want to write?

What story do you want to live?

When we dive deeply into our creativity, we become a different story ourselves.

I’ve been working with writers for over two decades and each year host a community of those who want not only to push their craft and art to its edges, but are also affected by the work they do and the connections it allows them to make.

If you

  • want your writing and your life to be congruent
  • dream of nurturing your creativity
  • have a writing project you are passionate about
  • want to bring a different story to our fragile world that is so in need of new stories (whether it’s fiction or nonfiction, poetry or blogs, local or global)

Then you’ve come to the right place.

Many of my blogs on this site focus on how we tend our stories, written and lived, and you will also find several free, self-led courses to download that focus on the writing life. I hope you will sign up for the newsletter to receive the Sunday journal: Alchemical Wonderings and occassional newsletters about courses or events.

You will find an index of specific journal posts on tending to our stories — the stories we write, the stories we live, the stories we aspire to be — to help you navigate the journal resources. And there is also an index of journal posts on reading and book reviews: resources for the joy of reading

Kith community has a space on Mighty Networks with seasonal writing workshops, regular prompts, a forum for discussion and an yearly weekend festival when we share the writing from the year alongside workshops and readings with guest authors.

There is also a Kith mentoring pathway for those working on a full length manuscript (poetry, memoir, fiction). This provides intensive one to one support plus an online intensive with four days of workshops for all those mentoring (generally in July) and full access to Kith community.

Please note: Kith community and Kith mentoring are now closed for 2026 and I’ll put up more information for 2027 in the early autumn.
